KBS Realty Advisors and its affiliated companies are proud to announce that two of its properties have received high ratings for sustainability. They are:
• Metropolitan Center, One Meadowlands Plaza, East Rutherford, N.J., which achieved LEED EB Gold certification in 2011 and an EnergyStar rating in 2012.
• 600 Campus Drive, part of the Park Avenue at Morris County campus in Florham Park, N.J., which achieved LEED EB certification and a 2012 EnergyStar rating in 2012.
“KBS continues to demonstrate a genuine commitment to sustainability, and we are pleased that our properties successfully reflect our mission,” said Ms. Randi Kaufman, KBS senior vice president. “It is our goal to provide state-of-the-art energy efficient environments for our tenants and these two properties are now ranked among the top office assets in the nation.”
Both properties are represented by CBRE leasing and property management teams. The asset services team includes Helen Samuelson, director, as well as Eva M. DeForest, RPA, general manager and Madeline Mercado, real estate manager, at Metropolitan Center; and Thomas M. Lynch, CPA, senior real estate manager and Jodi Giglio, real estate manager, at Park Avenue.
CBRE’s leasing representatives for Metropolitan Center are Patrick Murphy, vice chairman; Greg Barkan and Donald Sperling, senior vice presidents; Robert Norton, senior associate; and Supriya Kota, client services specialist.
The team in place at Park Avenue includes Mr. Murphy, Mr. Barkan, and Ms. Kota.
“The number of tenants seeking out energy-efficient properties continues to grow and owners need to be responsive to the needs of this potential tenant base,” added Mr. Barkan. “Both of these properties provide top-of-the-line amenities and exceptional work environments, in addition to prestigious business addresses.”
Metropolitan Center was also a 2012 TOBY award winner. It features countless Class-A amenities, including covered parking, cafeteria, complimentary fitness center, video tele-conference center, on-site dry cleaning, car wash and on-demand shuttle bus service to Secaucus Junction train station and local area restaurants and shops. The building overlooks the new MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets, and the forthcoming American Dream at the Meadowlands shopping and entertainment complex, and is adjacent to the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel and Conference Center.
Situated at Exit 16W off the New Jersey Turnpike at the junction of Routes 3 and 120, One Meadowlands Plaza is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Lincoln Tunnel. Newark Liberty International Airport and Teterboro Airport are within 10 miles, and dozens of restaurants and shopping options are just minutes away at the Secaucus outlets and regional malls.
600 Campus Drive, part of the Park Avenue at Morris County campus, offers a comprehensive amenity package including multiple cafeterias within the park, on-site dry cleaning, shoe shine and car wash services, approximately 1.75 miles of walking trails, and unique on-site features such as The Park Avenue Club – a private dining and banquet venue. Tenants enjoy the convenience of shuttle service to Convent Station, situated less than two miles away, which allows Midtown Direct service to Manhattan.
Set on a picturesque 136-acre site, the entire campus consists of six, Class-A office buildings that total 1.2 million square feet. Developed between 1989 and 1999, Park Avenue at Morris County is also a multiple BOMA and TOBY Award winner.
