For the adults, in addition to serving them freshly ground beef hamburgers, Zinburger is prepared to offer matching wines to the diner's choice of dishes. In order to entice the wine lover, Zinburger offers these wines at prices that range from $5.00 per glass to $15.00. This takes the hamburger dining experience a step above the regular offerings, a fact proven by their first location in New Jersey in Clifton. Of course there are beers on tap and in the bottle for those preferring that beverage.
The 5,300 square foot restaurant features the sleek, contemporary and upbeat Zinburger look and features a full bar which McGuire says is sure to be the hot spot at happy hour. The restaurant features 11 high definition televisions in the bar and dining areas which seats about 188 people.
Brought over from the Clifton location is Chef Sean Wenz. He started in Clifton as a sous chef and has graduated to head chef here in Paramus at the Westfield Garden State Plaza Shopping Center. The company took over the vacated Napa Valley spot and remodeled it extensively to accommodate the sports fan as well with HDTV in the bar area.
To show Paramus that it cares, Zinburger will donate 15% of its sales for the first four days, January 15 - 18 to the Paramus Education Foundation. The restaurant is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight. Happy hour is from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sundays wine bottles are half-price.
