Legislative Office Organizes Bus Trip to Million Mom March for Bergen County Residents
Assemblywoman Connie Wagner announced plans to attend the Million Mom March for Gun Control in Washington DC on Saturday, January 26. The legislative office also will organize bus trip for Bergen County residents to also attend the event.
“Gun violence prevention is a critical community issue heightened by the recent unspeakable tragedy in Connecticut,” said Wagner (D-Bergen/Passaic). “I look forward to joining with the residents of Bergen County and Moms from across the country to march for impactful legislative action to occur on the federal level and within each state that would help us address the long-standing problem of gun violence in our communities.
“We will go to Washington to represent our state in the fight against senseless gun crimes occurring far too often in this country. It is time the nation takes a stand and New Jersey will be there.”
