Van Dyk Health Care (www.vandykhealthcare.com) announces the addition of Jacqueline (Jackie) Cousins as administrator of the Van Dyk Montclair facility. Jackie Cousins joins Van Dyk with 15 years of experience in administrator roles in regional long-term care facilities. She holds an MA in public healthcare administration from New Jersey State University and a BA in psychology from William Patterson College. She’s licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health as an LNHA and also is a state-certified social worker.
“Under Jackie’s leadership, facilities have experienced growth and stability without losing site of the primary goal of quality care,” said Robert Van Dyk, president and CEO of Van Dyk Health Care and nationally recognized advocate for health care providers. “We welcome her expertise to our organization and our ‘We Care’ mission.”
Cousins joins Van Dyk Health Care as the staff, patients and residents graciously bid farewell to long-term administrator Andrea Solazzo upon her retirement after 15 years of service with the Van Dyk Health Care family. Solazzo spent her career demonstrating her dedication to the well-being of the patients and residents of Van Dyk Montclair and the needs of staff and the entire Van Dyk family.
“During her tenure with Van Dyk Health Care, Andi has brought much value to our health care mission in her role of administrator at Montclair. She is highly regarded by me, my family, her co-workers, not to mention the patients and residents of Van Dyk Montclair,” shared Robert Van Dyk. “We thank her for being a valued member of our team and the Van Dyk family for many years and we wish her the very best in retirement. She will be missed.”
