Fathers of Children with Special Needs Coming Together
By Paramus Post Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 09:47 AM EST
Often fathers of children with special needs feel isolated from the experiences of other fathers. This can weigh heavy on dads when combined with the additional expenses, medical and school issues and stresses on a family that are often associated with having a child with special needs.
Therefore, a group of fathers of children with special needs have come together to form a group so that they can learn from and strengthen each other to be better fathers (and have some fun too!). If you are the father of a child (of any age) with special needs, come to:
St. John the Evangelist
Parish Life Center
15 North Washington Avenue
Bergenfield, NJ
3rd Wednesday of the Month
7:15 to 9:00 PM
Next Scheduled Meeting: February 20, 2013
• …All dads of children w/ special needs welcome.
• Sandwiches & Refreshments will be served, no need to worry about dinner.
