NJPN 13th Annual Conference

Friday March 8th will mark the New Jersey Prevention Networks 13th Annual Addictions Conference, the largest gathering of Prevention & Treatment professionals in the State of New Jersey with 1000+ attendees annually.
This year’s Key Note Speaker is Dr. Richard Catalano, PHD Director, Social Development Research Group, University of Washington
For over 30 years, Dr. Catalano has led research and program development to promote positive youth development and prevent problem behavior. One of his most referenced works is his “Risk and Protective Factors Model,” which, co-authored with Dr. J. David Hawkins, served as a pioneering contribution to the field of addiction.
Dr. Catalano’s work has focused on discovering individual, family and community risk and protective factors for positive and problem behavior, designing and evaluating programs to address these factors, utilizing this knowledge to understand and improve state and local prevention service systems.
Additionally: Stuart Gitlow, MD MPH Acting President, American Society of Addiction Medicine and Aaron White, PHD Researcher, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism will be speakers.
