Scorebergen Mentor Joseph Desalvo Receives Award For 20 Years Of Service

DeSalvo has led SCOREBergen's Information Technology committee for many years and has been chiefly responsible for developing scorebergen.org, the organization's website, managing the client data base, and interfacing with SCORE's national headquarters. He also served as President of the NJ office of Converse Consultants. DeSalvo worked as a geotechnical consultant for 40 years and was a licensed professional engineer in several states. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering at Rutgers University and a MS in Geotechnical Engineering from Columbia University.
SCOREBergen mentors are active, semi-retired, or retired executives who held top-tier positions at major companies or owned and operated their own businesses. Mentors have experience in a variety of different fields including finance, construction, education, and human relations. SCOREBergen counselors advise small owners on navigating such issues as setting up a business plan, minimizing debt, building clientele, and franchising.
