NJ Association of Verismo Opera Holding Auditions for Solo Roles in Gianni Schicchi & Chorus in I Pagliacci

The NJ Jersey Association of Verismo is holding auditions for vocalists to fill the roles of Amantio di Nicolao and Pinellino in the company’s double bill, Gianni Schicchi and I Pagliacci.
These grand operas will be performed on April 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) in Englewood, New Jersey. For additional pay, vocalists are required to sing in the chorus of I Pagliacci. Jerseyites are especially wanted. For information, contact General Manager Evelyn La Quaif at 212-580-8519.

The NJ Association of Verismo Opera has been a part of the New Jersey music scene since 1989. The opera company, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, is the only professional opera company in Bergen County and northern New Jersey.
