Job Fair Set for Today
Westwood, NJ – HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley, a new full service, world-class hospital is scheduled to open June 1st 2013. The hospital has scheduled an Employment Open House today, February 18, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the main Lobby. Applicants will have the opportunity to apply for positions directly at the job fair and meet current members of the HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley team to discuss open positions.
“With construction nearing completion, we are thrilled to announce the opening of HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley. Our doors are set to open June 1st, 2013 and we are hard at work making preparations for a flawless first day. We need your expertise to make it a reality,” said Chad Melton, Chief Executive Officer. “We are proud to currently employ nearly 50 individuals, 11 of which were previously unemployed before joining our team. Our staff is excited to continue the momentum in our hiring process and to develop an energetic team that is eager to serve the Pascack and Northern Valley community.”
The hospital will fill 300 positions over the coming months in preparation for the June 1st opening. Departments with immediate needs include: pharmacy, case management, laboratory, radiology, materials management, respiratory therapy, emergency department, risk management, security, plant operations, finance, nursing managers, staff nurses, housekeeping and food services . The culture will be physician and patient focused with a goal of serving the specific needs of the Pascack and Northern Valley communities with a caliber of care that’s consistent with HackensackUMC’s world class standard.
