The Allendale Community For Mature Living Hosts Concert By Internationally-Acclaimed Pianist Giovanni Sorana On March 15

Musical Performance is Free and Open to the Public
ALLENDALE, N.J., Feb. 22, 2013 – On Friday, March 15, The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Mature Living will host a concert by internationally-acclaimed pianist Giovanni Sorana beginning at 7 p.m. in the Lounge. This performance is free and open to the public.
“Giovanni is well-respected for his musical talent, and we are thrilled to have him perform for us,” said Mary Stampleman, ADC, director of Therapeutic Recreation and Public Relations at The Atrium of The Allendale Community, a leading provider of continuing care retirement living. “We would like to thank Sophie Stone of the ParamusPost.com for her help in organizing this special event.”
Sorana’s distinguished career is both wide and varied. He studied at the famed Conservatory of Fermo in Italy and is the winner of a number of Italian music competitions including the “Mascia Masin.” In addition, Sorana founded the Choral of Visso and taught at prestigious music academies. He is the artistic director of the “poliphonica festival” in Visso and the artistic director and teacher of courses in musical interpretation of “Settembre Musicale” in Ussita. Sorana often performs solo and with two pianos with various Italian orchestras as well as with clarinetist Guido Arbonelli and the Namaste Quartet. Most recently, he performed at a fundraising event at Bergen Community College.
