Alabaster Heads To SXSW 2013!

Seattle-based rockers Alabaster, will be taking over Austin for South by Southwest 2013 with an impressive six showcases already booked! The band's explosive stage presence and undeniably-melodic-hardcore pop punk sound has landed them an opening slot for Yellowcard and their 2012 EP release "Unraveled" garnered comparison to veterans such as Paramore, Bayside and Jimmy Eat World. The band will be releasing their new EP, The Villain In Me.. shortly after SXSW on March 31st!

Alabaster is made up of five individuals who have joined together for one purpose: to bring their overwhelmingly catchy music to the masses. At the center of Alabaster is Shaina Rae. With one of the most amazing voices you will ever hear, she will blow you away with her beautiful melodies as well as her explosive stage presence. 

Shaina Rae, along with Kate on lead guitar and Joe on rhythm guitar, started Alabaster in Chicago. Soon after they made the tough decision to leave their friends and family to pursue their musical careers in the Emerald City - Seattle. There, they discovered the final pieces they had been missing: Dwayne on drums and Marlon on bass.

Combining each member's unique talent with a singular purpose, they are a completed puzzle ready to be shown to the world. With a new EP set to release in March, Alabaster is ready for a busy 2013!
