The Body Rampant Returns To SXSW 2013!

The Body Rampant are gearing up for a return to Austin to play at this year's South by Southwest! Following the success of their EP, the 5-piece alternative rock band from Los Angeles joined forces with famed producer Brian McTernan (Thrice, Balance & Composure, Circa Survive) to record their first full-length album, due out this Spring.

The Body Rampant formed in 2011 by singer/songwriter J.M. Lopez. To create their debut EP Transient Years, the band teamed up with producer Casey Bates (Portugal the Man, Chiodos, Pierce the Veil, MxPx). The music video for the album's first single "Sativa" premiered on MTV and since has received over 20,000 Youtube views.

Along with Lopez, the consists of Jacob Nichols (Guitar), Greg Haberek (Drums), Joey Alaimo (Bass), and Travis Couch (Guitar). The band matches their top quality studio recordings with a live show that rocks audiences across the country. The band's iconic masks were designed by an eccentric artist from San Francisco, CA.

With a powerful sound and top notch team behind them, this group of masked miscreants are certainly one to look out for in 2013.
