McLoughlin Irish Dance Group Coming to The Atrium - Special Performance Planned in Honor of St. Patrick’s Day

Irish step dancing students from The McLoughlin School of Irish Dance will be performing at The Atrium Assisted Living at The Allendale Community for Mature Living, on Saturday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the Lobby. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, the young dancers will be dressed in Celtic-inspired costumes and demonstrate the high kicks, hops, and precise footwork customary of traditional step-dancing. The public is invited to attend this performance. “We are thrilled to have the dancers from The McLoughlin School return for another wonderful performance,” stated Mary Stampleman, ADC, Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Public Relations at The Atrium Assisted Living. “It is a wonderful way for our residents to get into the Celtic spirit and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.”

The McLoughlin School of Irish Dance offers classes for beginners through championship level, both competitive and non-competitive, with locations in Bergen, Passaic and Rockland Counties. The school’s dancers have achieved major success in both solo dancing as well as team dancing and compete regularly in local, regional and national championships, qualifying regularly for the world championships.

The Allendale Community for Mature Living is located at 85 Harreton Road, on 12 suburban acres in Allendale, N.J. The campus is easily accessible via Route 17 South with private driveway access.
