Hawai‘i Health Connector Requests Proposals for Customer Service Contact Center and Support Services

The Hawai‘i Health Connector today announced that it has released a request for proposals (RFP) for the development, implementation and management of a customer service contact center and support services. The Connector is releasing the RFP to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide best in class customer service. The nonprofit State-based Exchange is seeking a customer service partner that knows how to service Hawai‘i’s residents, and that can bring strong capabilities that will enable a seamless customer experience.

The RFP can be found on the Connector’s website at: http://www.hawaiihealthconnector.com/Public_Notices.html
“The Connector’s goal is to provide Hawai‘i residents with high quality customer service,” said Coral Andrews, Hawai‘i Health Connector’s executive director. “Our brand is built upon being of Hawai‘i, for Hawai‘i, and a major component of that is being a trusted community resource. Vendors need to be able to meet the needs of Hawai‘i residents, and provide the right level of information and individualized assistance that empowers consumers to make decisions about the purchase of health insurance plans through the Connector.”
The customer service contact center will be one of several customer service arms to reach Hawai‘i’s small businesses, uninsured and underinsured. Vendor should be prepared to offer flexible and scalable operations throughout the duration of the contract reflecting the business requirements that are subject to change and are refined over time.
