Bergen Community College Announces Public Call for Works of Art for Exhibition Regarding Hurricane Sandy

Bergen Community College’s Gallery Bergen announces a public call for works of art for an upcoming exhibition regarding Hurricane Sandy. The exhibition will be held in Fall 2013 at Gallery Bergen.
The College is seeking visual art of any type which directly responds to the experience of Hurricane Sandy - the ecological and social degradations that cause hurricanes, increase of sea level and temperature, tidal surges, flooding, and related extreme weather due to climate change, as well as the personal effect of Hurricane Sandy.
The submission should include a disk with up to six jpgs of pertinent work available to be featured in the exhibition. A video submission should be no more than three minutes long or include still photos. Also on the disk, please submit a curriculum vitae or resume and a written description of the work's relation to the exhibition topic. The statement should be double-spaced and a maximum length of one page. Please also include printed versions of the curriculum vitae and the statement.
