“We [Felix] are honored to be recognized by our peers in the industry. We set out to create incredible products that provide simple solutions to everyday problems, and we’re thrilled to be nominated along with our fellow entrepreneurs,” says Chris Michaud, CEO of Felix. “This is only just the beginning! We’re very excited about our newest product, MonkeyOh, and can’t wait to reveal what we’re planning next.”
Consumers have a little more than a day left to join the MonkeyOh community on Kickstarter. It’s a unique and versatile charging dock and stand combines form and functionality into a fun package. This clever stand doubles as a cord wrap when plugged into an electrical outlet which frees up counter space and eliminates messy wires.
Here’s how this innovative dock works…Simply slide your Apple power adapter into MonkeyOh’s “backpack” slot, plug the USB end of the power cord into the monkey’s mouth and wrap the cord around the backpack. The clever design instantly organizes your space by getting rid of tangled cords. Finally, slide your smartphone into the flexible yet durable monkey arms for comfortable, hands-free multi-media viewing. MonkeyOh can accommodate a smartphone in portrait or landscape orientation.
Consumers can also use MonkeyOh on their desk or bedside table as an iPhone stand. The rubber non-skid bottom ensures that the dock won’t move which keeps your smartphone safe and secure. With MonkeyOh, users can easily Skype or video message, watch movies and much more.
Lightweight (< 0.2 ounces) and portable (3.5” x 3.5” x 3”), MonkeyOh can be tossed into a briefcase or luggage for on-the-go use. Made from polycarbonate material, the stand is as tough as it is cute. MonkeyOh will be available in black or white.
For a full list of pledge options, please check out MonkeyOh’s Kickstarter page. The dock is expected to begin shipping in July. It is compatible with all iPhone and iPod versions with or without a case and most Android devices.
