Counterfeit Concert Tickets Cornered By Paramus Police

The Paramus Police Department announces the arrests of Tyron C. Carr, 30 yoa, of Bronx NY and Ezequial Pinero, 28 yoa, of Bronx NY, for the sale of counterfeit concert tickets that they had advertised on Craig’s List.
These arrests came as result of an investigation by the Paramus Police Detective Division into numerous sales of counterfeit tickets for concerts, sports games and other events throughout the Bergen County area. On July 13, 2013, Detectives received information that the suspects had arranged a meeting with a victim to sell tickets they had advertised on Craig’s List. The suspects met the victim at the Garden State Plaza and sold 4 tickets for a “Zac Brown” concert for $500.00 cash. The tickets were later determined to be counterfeit. On July 16, 2013 Paramus Detectives using this information were able to arrange a meeting with the suspects to purchase additional tickets. At the time of the meeting Carr and Pinero were taken into custody.

Tyron C. Car was charged with 2 counts of Theft by Deception , 2C: 20-4, and was remanded to Bergen County Jail on $10,000.00 bail.
Ezeuial Pinero was charge with one count of criminal simulation, 2C: 21-2, and was released ROR.
