Riding for Six Different Charities This Summer, Local Business Owner Is Currently Making the Trek Down From VT to NJ
Local Mercer County business owner puts the peddle to the medal this summer as he heads out to ride and raise money for six different charities.
Phil Cooper, CEO of Cooper Pest Solutions & BedBug Central is currently riding from Burlington, VT to Trenton, NJ as part of the Anchor House Ride for Runaways, a nearly 500 mile ride. Excited about bringing awareness to the six organizations he’ll be riding for this summer, Cooper continues to be the same fundraising machine he was last summer when he raised nearly $50,000 for Multiple Sclerosis.
Dubbed Phil’s Summer of Cycling, this CEO is currently on a two month sabbatical doing what he loves best – riding his bike for a cause (in this case six of them). Cooper will peddle with ease knowing his team back in Lawrenceville, NJ has his back. A lot goes into him leaving for two months and the process has now become a well oiled machine. His team does a great job of posting updates to the Phil Across America website, sending out periodical e-mail blasts, keeping up with social media and informing the pest control industry of Cooper’s philanthropic efforts.
“Last summer my team back home rocked it,” said Cooper “Knowing that everything is going smoothly back at the office allows me to focus my efforts on riding and raising money for some great organizations, and I’m thrilled to be doing that again this summer!”
