U.S. Senator Robert Menendez today announced $1.2 million in federal funding for improvement projects at the Millville and Lakewood Municipal Airports. The funding comes from the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration.
“Funding to improve our municipal airports is important to keeping air travel safe and reliable,” said Menendez. “And without strong federal investment, New Jersey’s airports wouldn’t be able to thrive and help drive our economic growth.”
The specific awards are:
• $881,560 to the Delaware River and Bay Authority to complete phase two of a three phase project to refurbish the apron terminal at the Millville Municipal Airport.
