Jessie Armstead To Receive Man Of The Year Award At The 2013 New York Giants Big Blue BBQ

The Touchdown Fund is an exclusive charitable partnership, a first of its kind for the New York Giants, which raises funds for the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, the Heart & Vascular Hospital, and the John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC. The Touchdown Fund is an official partnership of the New York Football Giants and Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation.
Jessie Armstead said, “It is humbling to receive the 2013 Man of the Year Award from such a distinguished organization that I am blessed to still be very much a part of today. This event is not only the annual kick off to what will be an outstanding season but will raise money and awareness for children with heart defects and cancer.”

About Jessie Armstead:
Jessie Armstead is the co-owner of Hamilton Honda, in Hamilton, NJ, and Englewood Cliffs Cadillac, in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. He is best known as a former linebacker who played 11 seasons in the NFL, most notably with the New York Giants, earning five Pro Bowl selections. He is also a member of the New York Giants Ring of Honor. Armstead continues to work with The Giants as special assistant and consultant.
He is also an active supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network, Jimmy’s Fund, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, YWCA, SKOR and Ryan’s Quest. Additionally, YMCA honored Armstead with its prestigious 2010 Community Enrichment Award.
