Four Year old Completes Junior Spartan Race to benefit Rescue

Andrew Hofer has lived in the world of animal rescue since the day he was born. So, it was only natural that when he joined the Junior Spartan Race, he would be running to benefit A Pathway to Hope rescue, a North Haledon based rescue organization his parents help to found when he was just a year old.
Andrew was determined to raise money for his favorite cause and complete the race. He helped post out messages each day on Facebook and send emails to friends and family. He also practiced obstacles at the playground and in his backyard. As one of the youngest competitors, Andrew wanted to be ready. Race day came, and Andrew has raised a whopping $1,300 to support animal rescue, and he flew through the course like a pro (and wanted to do it again!). This shy, sweet faced little boy is an inspiration for us all.
“Andrew’s sweet nature touches us every day, and we are so proud of him,” shared Andrew’s parents, Amy and Jason Hofer.
