Senior Center Moments - September

Senior Center Director Eileen McDowell has put out a request for clean quilts and bedspreads! Condition doesn't matter, but they must be clean. For a noble cause, if dropped off at the Senior Center, they will be carefully put together and used in training animals. She has also issued a request to those receiving a Senior Survey; to pass it on to someone that does not attend the Center now or on a regular basis. That too should be dropped off at the Joseph Cipolla Senior Center.
McDowell announced that the AARP Defensive Driving Course that was offered on September 18th was completely filled and that she had a waiting list. Such was the response for the program. Along with the regular offerings, Director McDowell has arranged with the Paramus Library to show movies at the Center on Monday, September 23rd at 12 noon. While this is being done because the Library will be undergoing extensive construction, it leads to a new offering if well received.
The regular programs of Yoga, Bridge, Zumba, Bingo, Art, Pokeeno, , Canasta, Chair Exercise along with # 1 Club, S.A.L.T., Pioneers and AARP club meetings are still being offered in their regular time slots.
