Trinity Presbyterian Church recently held an outdoor service along with a picnic. Setting up for 50 seats required a rush to add 25 more seats as the capacity was underestimated. Some of the congregants preferred to stand and bask in the beautiful weather that was provided. The Reverend Dr. Sam Stone conducted the service and participation was enthusiastic.Always trying to please their congregation; always looking for innovative ways to do it,
After the service, a picnic table was set up under a canopy and the guests were invited to savor items prepared by members of the church. Because of the overwhelming reception, it was necessary to send out for more food so that nobody went hungry. The dishes varied from Chinese to American and were quickly emptied and devoured. One of the desserts featured cotton candy spun onsite!
Attend a Sunday service at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Pascack Road, just north of E. Ridgewood Avenue and see for yourself! You will be made to feel welcome! They just offered a celebratory cake for Pastor Sam to help celebrate his 50th birthday!
