The Paramus Police Department Announces Arrest For Burglary

A short time later Police Officer Laki Pothos and Police Officer Jay Makroulakis of the Fort Lee Police Department observed the vehicle driving on Route 4 eastbound in the area of Jones Road. The Fort Lee Officers stopped the suspect vehicle and arrested the suspect, Jose Portalatin-Boigue, without incident. He was transported to Paramus Police Headquarters where he was booked and remanded to the Bergen County Jail on $15,000.00 bail. The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
