Shelter Our Sisters, Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle and County Executive Kathleen Donovan invite you to a Candlelight Vigil to Remember Bergen County Victims of Domestic Violence. Recently, Bergen County has lost four beloved people to the ultimate act of domestic violence. http://www.northjersey.com/news/Four_deaths_in_Bergen_County_share_tragic_link_to_domestic_violence.html
In honor of them and the countless other victims and survivors, we will gather to mourn and reaffirm our commitment to end abuse and violence.
Please gather at the Shelter Our Sisters Pathway near parking lot 4 of Van Saun County Park, Paramus at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4th.
So raise the candles high
‘cause if you don’t we could stay black against the night
Oh raise them higher again
And if you do we could stay dry against the rain…
