Kulathon’s objective is to create a platform that makes yoga accessible to everyone, by offering six hours of instruction that will include gentle, flow, power, yin, restorative and kundalini yoga, and meditation. Geri Topfer, President of Kula for Karma stated it as follows, “As a compassionate community of yogis, the Kulathon will beautifully thread together a tapestry of consciousness, one asana at a time!”
The event features a group of innovative yoga instructors from studios in the tri state area including Jody Domerstad: Garden State Yoga, Jason Zagaro: Flow Yoga, Michele Sapanaro: Yoga Synthesis, Merilynn Blum: Peaceful Yoga, Chaya Spencer: Shree Yoga, Lorin Oneal: Ma Yoga and Meditation, Seth Weisberg: Garden State Yoga, Sheryl Edsall: Naturally Yoga and Loryn Riggiola: Jai Pure.
As Grand Handstand Sponsor, Aurorae will be the official outfitter for all the yoga instructors conducting sessions and provide their unique Slip-Free Rosin Bags and coupons to the first 250 registrants. Additionally, the company is giving away a free Aurorae yoga mat to the first 100 yoga instructors that register for the Kulathon.
Included within the nine sessions of yoga, there will be a meditation session. Food and beverages will be available for sale, an opportunity to participate in chanting will be offered, and vendors offering handmade jewelry, yoga clothing and accessories will be present at the event.
