Trinity Presbyterian Church, 650 Pascack Road in Paramus to help them celebrate this remarkable date. To some it eclipsed the Super Bowl game which was scheduled to be played that evening. It did for Sam, Sophie and their three children, Clarence, Cassy and Christy. Most of the congregation felt that way as well! Most couples go to a fancy place to celebrate a hallmark occasion such as a 25th Wedding Anniversary. Pastor Sam Stone and Sophie, his wife, chose to invite the congregation of their place of worship,
Starting off with the regular Sunday services, Dr. Reverend Samuel M Stone used Micah 6:1-8 for his Scripture Lesson and for his sermon discussed why We Respond To God's Love. A Communion Service was held where the leaders and the congregation shared in the rituals. As usual, the choir gave forth in melodious voice in their renditions of the Hymns. One choir member was seen swaying his body to the rhythm of the music!
After the service, the assemblage repaired to the Community Room where a beautiful cake was ready to be admired and served. It is a pleasure to see a family that is like one, especially for these memorable occasions.
