Paramus Police Arrest Michael Kors Watch Theft Suspect

On Friday January 31, 2014 Paramus Police Detective Michael Cebulski and Officer Sal Cosentino arrested SUMTER leaving his residence without incident. Cebulski used video surveillance and witnesses to identify SUMTER during his 1 month theft spree. ISHMELL SUMTER used random acquaintances to drive him to the Paramus malls where he committed his thefts in less than 60 seconds. SUMTER was charged with the theft of fifteen (15) watches during five (5) different incidents totaling $3,410.00.
ISHMELL SUMTER was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $5,000.00 scheduled for a court appearance on February 5, 2014.
These charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
