Bergen Performing Arts Center located at 30 North Van Brunt Street in Englewood New Jersey presents Travis Tritt with guest Lyndsey Highlander Sunday, March 9th at 7PM. Be sure to reserve tickets at www.ticketmaster.com or bergenPAC’s Box Office at 201.227.1030.
Travis Tritt developed a gutsy, outlaw image that distinguishes him from the pack of male country singers. Throughout the early '90s, he had a string of platinum albums and Top Ten singles, including three number one hits.
ritt comes to the Clayton Center as part of his acoustic tour and gives audiences an intimate experience playing his songs, and telling stories in a rare and intimate concert.
"Growing up just outside Atlanta, to the north of us you've got the Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville," Tritt explains. "A little bit South you've got Macon, Georgia - home of the Allman Brothers, the Marshall Tucker Band and Capricorn Records. And off to west you've got Delta blues. Sprinkle Southern gospel over the top of that, and you're talking about where I came from. I loved all of that music."
Blue Eyes, Dark Hair, soothing falsettos, and a passion for life. That’s the first thing that hits you about Lyndsey Highlander, but wait till you see her perform…
Lyndsey credits her sound to a passion for soulful sounds such as Bonnie Raitt, Pat Benetar and Aretha Franklin. However, if you ask Lyndsey who became the biggest inspiration to her music, without even a pause she will tell you how much Patsy Cline has influenced her spirit and her sound.
