Knesset’s Committee For Aliyah, Absorption And Diaspora Makes Official Visit To Nefesh B’Nefesh

The Knesset’s Committee for Aliyah, Absorption and Diaspora, headed by MK Yoel Razvozov visited Nefesh B’Nefesh offices this morning. The committee toured the various departments of the organization and was able to experience the organization's activities to encourage and increase Aliyah from North America firsthand. Various options to enhance the cooperation between Nefesh B’Nefesh and the Knesset were discussed at the meeting, as well as the parliamentary assistance required to encourage Aliyah from North America and help expedite the absorption process.

At the conclusion of the tour, Committee Chairman MK Yoel Razvozov, “It is plain to see that there is significant work being done here to encourage Aliyah. Nefesh B’Nefesh’s efforts are appreciated and clearly invaluable, and it is vital to support the organization’s efforts in encouraging Aliyah”

Erez Halfon, Vice Chairman of Nefesh B’Nefesh welcomed the committee and said, “Nefesh B’Nefesh” stands in constant contact with the Knesset’s Committee for Aliyah, Absorption and Diaspora and MK Razvozov. The Committee’s actions are an important tool for promoting Aliyah. We are grateful to MK Razvozov for all his dedicated work over this past year and looking forward to partnering together in order to encourage Aliyah in future in years."

Mel is a longtime Paramus resident and has belonged to many Paramus organizations. He is responsible for bringing the Scholarship Show to town and seeing to it that the initial presentation went over well. His five offspring were brought up through the Paramus school system.
