MaxLite Receives 2014 Top Products Award for Direct Lit LED Flat Panel Performance Series


MaxLite® has received the 2014 Top Products Award for its Direct Lit LED Flat Panel Performance Series, from Building Operating Management (BOM) magazine. The BOM Top Products is an award program that recognizes the year’s most popular, useful and innovative products as deemed by building owners and facilities management professionals in a nationwide survey. Readers selected from 465 products, and the top 15 percent of products was selected as top products and featured in the February 2014 issue and on www.facilitiesnet.com.

The Direct Lit LED Flat Panel delivers glare-free light in a variety of commercial applications, including schools, offices, retail and grocery stores, government and municipality buildings, and healthcare environments. The fixture offers up to an 84 color rendering index (CRI) for optimum color rendering and maxes out at 88 lumens per watts for superior efficacy. Multiple correlated color temperatures (CCTs) are available for each size. The 45- and 60-watt fixtures are energy-efficient alternatives for 150- to 175-watt T8 and T12 fluorescent troffers.

Offering a minimalist design and fresh change from standard fluorescent troffers, the LED fixture features a one-piece translucent white diffuser over high-ranked, narrowly binned LEDs for a balanced luminous environment. The durable steel housing and polycarbonate face frame are modularly constructed for easy replacement and maintenance of drivers or light boards.

Up to 20 panels can be synchronized to a master panel to operate as one system. For additional energy savings, the fully dimmable fixture is compatible with building controls, motion sensors, timers and daylight harvesting systems.
