Valley Medical Group (VMG) is a multispecialty group practice comprising doctors and advanced practice professionals representing more than 30 medical and surgical specialties. VMG – which joins The Valley Hospital and Valley Home Care as the three entities that form Valley Health System – has office locations throughout the area. VMG brings together doctors who practice at The Valley Hospital, Valley’s Blumenthal Cancer Center in Paramus, seven urgent/primary care centers, and community-based practices.
“I will offer my patients old-world personalized care and compassion within the new world of state-of-the-art treatments that are practiced in medicine today,” says Dr. Figueroa. “My extensive training and experience in family medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics enables me to provide the full range of medical care for patients of all ages, from 5 to 100+.”
Dr. Figueroa, a resident of Nutley, received his medical degree cum laude from Perpetual Help College of Medicine in the Philippines. He underwent internship and graduate training in general surgery, ophthalmology, and medicine in the Philippines. He also underwent clinical rotations at Bergen Regional Medical Center in Paramus and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
