Be Part of the Solution at Habitat Bergen’s 20th Annual Gala

Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County (Habitat Bergen) is hosting its 20th Annual Gala at the Venetian in Garfield, New Jersey on Thursday, April 24th. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the affiliate will roll out the red carpet and welcome local celebrities to help support its mission of providing affordable housing to low-income and hardworking Bergen County families.

The 20th Annual Gala will be a fun night of dancing, entertainment, delicious food and an opportunity to go home with fabulous prizes from the silent auction and tricky tray. Local stars such as notable interior designer Vanessa DeLeon of NBC’s new reality competition series American Dream Builders, health and fitness guru Pete Cerqua, singer Lori Michaels as well as former NBA player and CBS’s Survivor contestant Cliff Robinson will come together to show their support for Habitat Bergen.

Habitat Bergen thanks the following event sponsors and supporters to date: Becton Dickinson, Bogota Savings Bank, Cole Schotz, ConnectOne Bank, Doreen E. Winn Esq., Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Getler and Gomes PC, Greenberg Traurig, Harco Industries, Inserra Supermarkets, Christopher Jansen and Patricia McInerney Jansen Family Foundation, Kearny Federal Savings, Lakeland Bank, Nordstrom, OritaniBank Charitable Foundation, TD Bank, United Water and Winne Banta. Additionally, Habitat Bergen is grateful to have Hudson MOD serve as the Exclusive Media Sponsor for the Gala.

Tickets are $170 each and can be purchased online at www.habitatbergen.org. For more information about the Gala, contact Lorraine Knox at [email protected], or 201.457.1020.

About Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County
The goal of Habitat Bergen is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by working in partnership with people in need. Using volunteer labor and donated funds and materials, Habitat Bergen builds or rehabilitates simple, decent houses and sells them to low-income families at cost, but with no interest added. Habitat Bergen is a people-to-people partnership, which joins all of us together regardless of race, nationality, religion, or socioeconomic status. That partnership begins with the homeowner families (partner families). Habitat Bergen is not a giveaway program, but a joint venture in which those who benefit from the housing ministry are involved in the work at various levels. They help with the construction of their own home, as well as the houses of their neighbors.
