Although Mayor Rustin lives across the street, he could not wait for the food to be prepared. He promised to stop back later on. Mayor Parisi was seen not only at the food counter, but also at the cake counter where there were many sweets to be selected. Available at the feast were: Grilled Octopus, Lamb Shank, Souvlaki, Gyros, Greek Fries, Grek Sausage, Moussaka, Pastitsio, Mezedakia, Greek Salad, Tyropita, Spanakopita and Keftedes, Orzo, Dolmades and Taramosalata among many other Greek dishes. There are also daily specials.
The rides, supplied by Reithoffer Shows, were active right from the start. A mixture of kiddy and adult rides are presented. Getting there early will provide you with onsite parking. The overflow crowd has a distance to go. East Clinton Avenue is a well traversed right of way!
