Partners with Burley Clay Products for new Limited Edition line
FlashPoint Candle, a leader in creative candle décor and design for inside and outside of the home, continues to expand its 100% American-made candle offering through a new partnership with Burley Clay Products. Ohio-based Burley Clay, known for its stoneware, birdbaths and garden planters, has been producing pottery since 1923. Designed and developed by FlashPoint Candle, the Limited Edition candle line will be released at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market® in time for the winter gift-buying season.FlashPoint Candle created this handcrafted, low crock-styled candle specifically for gift retailers and in keeping with its popular and unique handmade vessels. “Retailers appreciate special, handmade-in-the-USA items, especially at a great price,” says Drea Groeschel, founder and CEO of FlashPoint Candle. “The new line will come complete with a round gift box. Just add a bow and it’s ready for gift-giving!” The low crock design is a classic kitchen styling historically seen throughout kitchenware and tabletop items. The candle measures 4” in diameter and is 3.5” tall. “We took design inspiration from gourmet chefs who enjoy serving in small individual vessels. The Limited Edition low crock candle can also be used for food when the candle is finished, a great added value.” says Groeschel.
Burley Clay Products, who will craft the Limited Edition candles in their Roseville, Ohio facility, joins Rowe Pottery as one of FlashPoint Candle's supply partners in its 100% USA-made category of products. Groeschel adds, “Burley Clay has been around for a long time and FlashPoint Candle is relatively new. It’s a great partnership that pairs history with innovation. We are very excited to have them working with us.”
The limited release carries two color and fragrance choices: Green glaze with Sage Wreath fragrance and White glaze with Oatmeal Ginger fragrance. Each Limited Edition candle will have an MSRP of $39.98 to fall within the highly sought after price point of gifts under $40. “It’s a great price for an American-made gift. Even the gift packaging is made in the U.S., right in Chicago. Supporting jobs in several states is an added bonus when you buy American-made. I think retailers and consumers alike understand and appreciate this,” explains Groeschel. “We’re excited to provide consumers with another product that allows them to be conscious of our U.S. workforce while enjoying authentic design and long-term value from reusability.”
Retailers and designers may experience the new Limited Edition candle at the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market® from July 8-15.
