Woodmont Properties, one of New Jersey’s foremost developers of luxury residential communities, today announced that its Saddle River Grand ultra-luxury community has received a gold achievement in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Best of 50+ Housing awards.
In 2013, Saddle River Grand was named “Community of the Year for an Attached Community Over $350,000” (Architect: Robert Zampolin) at the New Jersey Builders Association’s 26th Annual Conference. The property also received the following recognitions: Best Color Ad One-half Page & Under; Best Special Promotion for a Community; Best Sales Office -800 Square Feet or Less; Best Interior Merchandising for a Clubhouse; Best Attached Home Over $350,000.
“We are extremely proud of our award-winning properties and this latest recognition is a further testament to our success in developing luxurious communities that offer residents quality, convenience and prestige,” said Eric Witmondt, Chief Executive Officer of Woodmont Properties. “I would like to commend the efforts of our salesforce on their ability to quickly and efficiently sell out all homes within a six month period.”
Originally, Woodmont Properties expected this project would take three years to sell out and four years to complete. Woodmont sold 17 homes in the first weekend, 24 homes in the first month and 40 homes by the time the sales office was opened in February 2012. The community sold out in 6 months at prices between $1.3 and $2.0 million.
Located in one of the most affluent towns in New Jersey, Saddle River Grand consists of 68 attached villa-style homes, ranging in size from 4,300 to 5,700 square feet, situated on 21-acres. The site has quickly been recognized as a commuter’s dream as it is only ¼ mile from the Garden State Parkway.
The homes are grouped in duplexes and triplexes, and are inspired by classic Georgian Colonial architecture, which combines a brick exterior with opulent modern features and finishes. Amenities in the community include a gated entrance, walking paths and a clubhouse concierge, clubroom, kitchen, fitness center, yoga studio, outdoor hot tub and a swimming pool with a barbeque area.
