Hackensack, NJ – Jim Tedesco, the Democratic candidate for County Executive, was recently endorsed by the Bergen County Education Association (BCEA) -- the largest county education association in New Jersey.
“Our public school teachers play an instrumental role in helping our children reach their full potential,” said Tedesco, who also serves as a Freeholder and recently restored more than $6 million in funding for education across Bergen County.
“Everyone has had a teacher that has changed their life. That is why education is such an integral part of my platform and vision for Bergen County. It is a pleasure and an honor to be endorsed by the BCEA. I look forward to working with and advocating for our public school teachers when I become Executive.”
The BCEA represents teachers and educational support professionals who work in Bergen County public schools. The mission of the BCEA is to work with national, state, and local affiliates to advance and protect the rights, benefits, and interests of all members and to advocate for a quality system of public education for all students in Bergen County.
