The narrative gave an insight into the life of Darling and pitching techniques. Paramus Sunrise Rotary Donates $6,000 to Rotary's Gift of Life Program

Meeting 06/30/09 President Anthony Iacono and President Elect Mukesh Malkan invited District 7490 GoL Chairman Paul Platek to explain the Gift of Life program and to accept a check for $6,000.00. Platek explained that this would place Paramus Sunrise on the list of clubs to receive a child from an underdeveloped program to come to the United States District 7490 and to receive a lifesaving heart operation. Iacono had worked hard for this event; holding a Fashion Show which brought in the needed funds. read more

Rhythms of India Concert at Paramus Bandshell

"Rhythms of India", a dance and music concert, played to an appreciative audience on Sunday afternoon, June 28th in the Paramus Bandshell.  A concert organized by Paramus community members and Paramus Public Library staff, it featured classical and semi-classical dances of India.  The audience was treated to the Bharatnatyam and Kathak dance styles as well as an upbeat Bollywood medley, and an Indian Tabla drumming performance.  In between acts there was a brief fashion show featuring Indian traditional dress for all ages.  On a beautiful summers' day, this cross-cultural experience was enjoyed by all who attended.
