BounceU recently opened in Paramus on Eisenhower Drive (off of Century Road). I was fortunate to have a day off during the week so I called this place to find out if they had any open play time. Lucky for me they had open play time that day from 4-5:30. So I took the kids. We got there about ten to four and they made us wait in the lobby area. Keeping children in Bergen County safe is the goal of Care Plus NJ’s Healthy Families-TIP Program and a generous grant from Community Chest of Englewood is helping do just that. Thanks to the support of the Community Chest of Englewood, Healthy Families-TIP staff attended the Prevent Child Abuse National Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This four day conference provided continuing education and training opportunities for the staff, enabling them to provide better services for children and families in our community.

The NJSO presents “Best of Shakespearean Romance,” an ode to the myriad musical efforts the Bard’s works have inspired. Composers from Mendelssohn to Tchaikovsky to Sibelius have drawn on the playwright’s classic love stories, setting to music the tales of Shakespearean romances like Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
