Sussex Bank Rebuilds with Habitat Bergen on a “Bankers Build” in Hackensack and Little Ferry

ORADELL, NJ, November 18, 2015 – A team of seven employees from Sussex Bank traded in their day jobs to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County (Habitat Bergen) in Little Ferry and Hackensack, as part of the New Jersey Bankers Association’s (NJBankers) “Bankers Build” program.

The team split into two groups but all had the same goal in mind: to rebuild homes damaged by Superstorm Sandy. Volunteers installed drywall, spackled and sheathed an exterior wall.
