Community Chest

Grant a Wish Spring Event Benefiting the Elderly of Our Community

The Community Chest Serving Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs strengthen the community through philanthropy, partnership and leadership. Since 1933, the Community Chest has raised money from community residents and businesses to support carefully selected and monitored non-profit agencies that provide social services and educational, recreational and cultural opportunities for the community. The Community Chest is an autonomous organization that is run by a volunteer Board of Managers.


THURSDAY MAY 5, 2011 - 6:30PM – 8:30PM - Event $75.00 Per Person Patron & $125.00 Per Person Benefactor
 
This year the Community Chest is celebrating Cinco de Mayo while raising money for the elderly of the community. The Cinco de Mayo event at the Englewood Field Club will raise funds for the elderly. This is a great way for families; friends and the community to give back to their elders so that they may receive funds that can help pay for utilities and activities or facilities they could not otherwise afford. Festive Cocktails and Hors D’oeuvres will be served!!

The Community Chest Serving Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs strengthen the community through philanthropy, partnership and leadership. Since 1933, the Community Chest has raised money from community residents and businesses to support carefully selected and monitored non-profit agencies that provide social services and educational, recreational and cultural opportunities for the community. Funds raised in the campaign support programs at local non-profit organizations that provide social, cultural, recreational, and educational services to community residents. A thorough process of screening, research, and monitoring by the Chest’s Board of Managers assures that dollars raised go to the most worthy programs and where they are needed most.
