Top New York City Physicians Unite At Health East In Englewood

Dr. Ronald Krinick, Chairman, and Dr. Anson Moise, Medical Director, lead this multidisciplinary healthcare practice that includes an Ambulatory Surgical Center, Medical Suites and a Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center.

Ronald Krinick, M.D., Chairman
Dr. Ronald Krinick serves as Health East Ambulatory Surgical Center’s Chairman. From 1986 to 2010, he served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the New York University Downtown Hospital, and now is Associate Chairman of the new Orthopedic Department as well as a Trustee on the hospital’s Medical Board. Dr. Krinick is also founder and chairman of Seaport Orthopaedic Associates (SOA). SOA is designated as a center of excellence in various areas of Orthopaedic surgery by several insurance companies. SOA has also been recognized by the American College of Physicians Executives in conjunction with Merck, Sharp and Dohme and the Traveler's Insurance Company for innovations in the delivery of medical care with emphasis on physician accountability.

In 2006, he received the International Physicians of the Year award, presented by Shaare Tzedek Hospital on Jerusalem where he now sits as a Board of Trustee. In 2010 he was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Physician Recognition Award for the body of his careers work from New York Downtown Hospital. He was the Orthopedic leader during the tragic September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Dr. Krinick has also been awarded "Physician of the Year" by the National Republican Congressional Committee's Physician Advisory Board. In addition, he has been listed as one of the "Best Doctors" in New York Magazine over many years, and included in Castle Connolly’s Guide to Top Doctors in the New York metro area.

Dr. Krinick graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from The State University of New York at Albany. His Doctor of Medicine was obtained at New York University. Postgraduate training was obtained at Montefiore-Albert Einstein Medical Center in a combined internal, medicine/surgical internship. He graduated from the New York University Orthopedic residency. Subsequent to that he did specialty training with fellowship training in Sports Medicine, Knee and Shoulder surgery. He has been a member of the Orthopedic Surgical team for the New York Yankees and the NY Islander hockey team.

He is a resident of the Englewood community along with his wife Elizabeth and their three children.

Anson Moise, M.D., Medical Director
Dr. Anson Moise is the Medical Director of Health East Ambulatory Surgery Center as well as Chairman and Founder of both Northeast Anesthesia and Pain Management and Pain Specialists of New York and New Jersey. Dr. Moise is a Board Certified physician specializing in Anesthesia and is licensed in both New Jersey and New York. He received his medical degree from Weill Medical College-Cornell University, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine- St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and a Fellowship in Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine – New York. Dr. Moise is currently on medical staff at New York Hospital of Queens, and the Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. He is a professional member of the American Society of Anesthesiology, American Society of Pain Medicine, New York State Society of Anesthesiology, New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiology, and the Society of Ambulatory Anesthesia.
