While we were discussing this event, Irene Maury appeared to give credence to the work that the volunteers had done for the Paramus Human Services food garden next door to the Human Services office.
Because the group was dedicated to Special Needs people, my guide cautioned me about taking pictures of everyone and offered to screen the views so that no one would be offended. Known as the Paramus Rehab/Progressive Paths/Careers Through Technology, these special needs clientele arranged for the subjects to be offered for view and were cheered on by Simcha and The Traveling Troubadours. These costumed adults played music and danced in the center of the room.
Available for view were: The Spirit: The Gardens where scouting, music, arts, photography, volunteering, traveling, crafts, sewing and rug making were available. Being taught was Safe Keeping of foods and food safety.
