Emil has offered a $500.00 award: 100 MEMBERS IN 100 DAYS Gov. Emil kicked off a membership campaign at the December staff meeting!
“We seek to encourage clubs to SWELL their membership with an organized effort to grow by 100 MEMBERS district wide by March 23rd - 100 days from the launch” he said. It was announced that the WINNER with the most number of members approved by this date will be recognized at the District Conference in Washington, D.C. and awarded a $500.00 Matching Grant for the local service project of their choice.
Clubs should consider holding a “Meet & Greet” or a follow up member recruitment meeting on February 23rd - the 107th birthday of Rotary International. “Tell the Rotary story, let the community know what you do - locally, nationally and internationally” said the District Governor.
“Let's get our ASK in gear” is a phrase coined by PDG Bernie Finkel. It means.
Just ask someone you know to join you for a club meeting. Let them hear about what your club does locally and internationally when they visit, let them get excited about getting involved. Surely there's something your club does to capture the spirit of the community.
Why not share that with a friend, neighbor or colleague?
