RIVERDALE, N.J. – In support of the two and four legged victims of Storm Sandy, Mike's Feed Farm will be continuing relief efforts and collecting donations to “Stuff Our Truck.” Mike’s will have its box truck parked outside the Riverdale store starting Valentine’s Day and through the weekend. Help Mike’s to fill the truck with pet supplies for pets affected by Sandy.
So many families remain homeless and devastated from Storm Sandy. Mike’s Feed Farm is committed to helping the two and four legged victims of Sandy. Requests and needs are greater than ever. Mike’s truck will be delivering donations to organizations and families in need.
Thus far, Mike’s Feed Farm manager, Kelli Delia, notes that close to $15,000 in food and supplies have been donated and distributed. People from all over are touched by the devastation of Storm Sandy and want to help. Donations have come from our close-knit local community, including a sweet second grader named Daniel Korman of Chapel Hill Academy in Lincoln Park who is collecting pet supplies for Mike’s donation drive. Mike’s drive has also reached across the country, with Sidney Park Equestrian Center in Colorado making a generous donation to purchase supplies for affected pets.
