Free Art Exhibit to be Displayed at Bergen County Administration Building


Hackensack, NJ -- Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders invite the public to view an art exhibit by the Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey. The free exhibit may be viewed during work hours from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the 5th floor of the Bergen County Administration Building at One Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack. An opening reception will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The reception will include light refreshments and classical guitar musical accompaniment by Fair Lawn musician, Keith Fanella.

 

Eight North Jersey sculptors from the Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey will exhibit their work ranging from carved stone to soft sculptures, as well as mixed media and representational clay pieces. The artist’s names are: Pam Cooper, Upper Saddle River; Natalie Frier, Harrington Park; the late Myra Grosinger, New Milford; Noelle McGuire, Oradell; Ulla Novina, Harrington Park; Herrat Sommerhoff, River Vale; Michael Stefanovich, Fort Lee; Sol Zaretsky, Teaneck.

The Sculptor Affiliates of the Art Center of Northern New Jersey is an organization of 14 professional sculptors committed to contemporary artistic expression in a broad range of styles and techniques. They exhibit individually and as a group in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. It is the purpose of the Sculptor Affiliates, with its close association to the Art Center of Northern New Jersey of New Milford, to play an important role in encouraging interest in the three dimensional arts.
