American Cut Bar & Grill Introduces New Management Team & Menu



American Cut Bar & Grill
(Englewood Cliffs, NJ - August 3, 2016) – It is with great excitement that LDV Hospitality and partner Marc Forgione announces the new management team and menu effective today at American Cut Bar & Grill in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Long time LDV chef and local New Jersey resident, Anthony Russo has taken over the kitchen as Executive Chef.  After listening to many comments and input, Chef Russo has created a new menu, offering a mix of signature American Cut dishes and a variety of healthy and approachable items such as fresh salads and seasonal locally sourced fish.  Anthony’s counterpart in the front of the restaurant is his long-term colleague and charming local host, Dave Feeback, who joins us as the new General Manager.  In addition to our new menu, American Cut Bar & Grill will be offering the signature two-pound Chilli Lobster dish and a classic steak cut for two.  The new team looks forward to this new chapter at American Cut Bar & Grill.

American Cut Bar & Grill is located at 495 Sylvan Ave (9W) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner daily Tuesday through Thursday from 11:30AM to 10:00PM, Friday & Saturday from 11:30AM to 11:00PM, and Sunday from 11:30PM to 9:00PM. About Anthony Russo: Anthony Russo, born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, is a true blood New Yorker that grew up in a traditional Italian family, where every Sunday meant large family dinners with traditional home cooked meals. As a child he always dreamed of being in the restaurant business and realizing this passion as teenager led the chef-in-training to enroll at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1991. After graduating in 1993, Anthony went on to work with top culinary icons such as David Burke, Michael Meehan, Sam Hazen and Todd English.

In 2009, Anthony joined LDV Hospitality as the Executive Chef of Lugo Cucina Italiana. Here, celebrities of all types stop in to enjoy some of his signature dishes, including his now famous Crispy Pork Shank and Meatballs! He also went on to oversee operations for additional properties in the LDV Hospitality portfolio, including the storied No.8 Nightclub.

In July 2016, Lugo Cucina Italiana was awarded a Michelin Guide Recommendation and, with Anthony’s continued development within LDV Hospitality, he has been named Executive Chef at American Cut Bar & Grill in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, responsible for all culinary operations. Anthony Russo resides in Bloomfield, NJ with his wife Angela and their beloved lab Bailey Belle.

About Marc Forgione: Chef Marc Forgione is the Chef/Owner of Restaurant Marc Forgione, American Cut and Lobster Press and is the Co-owner/Partner of Khe-Yo. He won season 3 of Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef” at just 31 years old, making him the youngest winner in the show’s history. Among the many accolades, Restaurant Marc Forgione was recognized with a glowing two-star review in The New York Times and received a Michelin star. Chef Forgione is a Chef Ambassador for Family Reach Foundation, Chefs for Kids Cancer, City Harvest, and Feeding America. In 2014, Chef Forgione became an author as well with the release of “Marc Forgione: Recipes and Stories from the Acclaimed Chef and Restaurant.”

About John Meadow: Focused on concept and business development, John Meadow drives the creative process for LDV Hospitality, envisioning and creating new concepts as well as forging business partnerships with hoteliers, developers, and celebrated chefs alike. John began his career in the hospitality industry immediately after graduating from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration, starting off as manager at The Plaza Hotel’s Oak Room. At 24, John sought out to create something of his own and opened the bar and grill Local West in midtown Manhattan. After an entrepreneurial freshman success in 2008, he launched LDV Hospitality, which now boasts a range of food and beverage concepts throughout the country.
