(Englewood, NJ) When Howie Felixbrod owner of Blue Moon Mexican Café restaurants in New Jersey and New York learned that one of his former employees, Lisa Rudd whose 13 year old son Jake was fighting a rare form of bone cancer, he and fellow employees jumped right in to assist the family by coming up with a plan to raise money to help the Rudd family pay for their unforeseen medical expenses.
Visit any New Jersey Blue Moon Mexican Café Restaurants on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from opening to closing and 20% of every check will be donated to the Rudd Family. Blue Moon Mexican Café frequently offers “Community Night” annually for countless charitable organizations within the tri-state area however this situation hits home for the entire Blue Moon family.
As Howie Felixbrod owner of Blue Moon explains, “September 11th is a significant day for all Americans especially those living in New York and New Jersey where we lost so many of our friends and family, this is a day of service and there is no better way to demonstrate our support and love by helping a young boy within our community assistance while he is in the fight of his life.”
