In late September the Paramus Police Department became aware of possible drug dealing involving juveniles in the area of Primrose Lane located near Paramus High School. Detective Glenn Pagano and Detective Paul Siemon of the department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit began a surveillance of the area. On September 27, 2016 the officers observed Chermeris, accompanied by the  17 year old male sell drugs to the 15 year old male while on Primrose Lane. All three were arrested and a search revealed marijuana, citalopram hydrobromide pills, digital scale, grinder,  and other narcotics paraphernalia.

The suspects were transported to Paramus Police Headquarters where they were booked, processed and charged. The juveniles were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and released to their parents. Chemeris was remanded to Bergen County Jail on $500.00 bail.
