A Morning At The New Meadowlands Flea Market

Wanting to get out and to do something, Paramus Post decided to go to the nearby New Meadowlands Market in East Rutherford at the Spots Complex, parking lot J. At 10 AM, the parking lot was jammimg with other individuals who wanted to get out and breath some freedom. The aisles were busy and the wonderful aromas of corn, frankfurters, pizza and more were filling the air. A stop at the office to say hello to Bob Brumale, an old friend and then a long trek up an aisle to Caplan’s T shirts.

Located at the end of the aisle, his selection was vast and his helpers were busy assisting potential buyers. In need of some shirts for the Paramus 4th of July Parade, I asked for the theme color, blue. Immediately, I was given a choice of sizes in a dark blue color. Among the selection were medium, large and extra-large which fit my needs. Given a choice, I selected them at a bargain price.

Back to the office, Bob and I discussed the Jersey Jackals which he and Al Dorso have recently purchased. Bob also informed me that he will be opening another flea market in the near future. More on that to come later.
